What You’ll Do
- Implement and oversee physical security processes to enhance safety and compliance.
- Respond to security incidents and assess their implications for the agency.
- Assist in investigations of security breaches and maintain an incident-tracking database.
- Conduct physical security risk assessments, including threat analysis and security audits.
- Develop and execute remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.
- Manage staff schedules and attendance for security personnel.
- Liaise with law enforcement and other relevant organizations on security matters.
- Monitor and maintain security surveillance equipment and systems.
- Provide training and awareness programs on physical security policies.
- Compile reports and maintain records of security incidents.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (N Dip/B Degree/B Tech) or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience in physical security.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or junior management experience.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, investigations, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proficient in electronic security systems and policy formulation.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on security risk management.
- A commitment to integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all interactions.
