What You’ll Do

• Implement and oversee physical security processes to enhance safety and compliance.
• Respond to security incidents and assess their implications for the agency.
• Assist in investigations of security breaches and maintain an incident-tracking database.
• Conduct physical security risk assessments, including threat analysis and security audits.
• Develop and execute remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.
• Manage staff schedules and attendance for security personnel.
• Liaise with law enforcement and other relevant organizations on security matters.
• Monitor and maintain security surveillance equipment and systems.
• Provide training and awareness programs on physical security policies.
• Compile reports and maintain records of security incidents.

What You’ll Need

• A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (N Dip/B Degree/B Tech) or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience in physical security.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or junior management experience.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, investigations, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Proficient in electronic security systems and policy formulation.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on security risk management.
• A commitment to integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all interactions.
