What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily operations of the photo capturing unit and manage staff performance.
- Coordinate fingerprint capturing and processing of applications in compliance with DHA guidelines.
- Review and manage incoming and finalized work from fingerprint officers.
- Prepare monthly reports on project statuses and operational performance.
- Conduct training and provide guidance to fingerprint personnel to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Investigate and resolve exceptional cases promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on policy formulation regarding identity document pre-processing.
- Implement effective risk management and compliance measures within the unit.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Operations Management, Public Management, Business Management, or Social Science at NQF level 6.
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, preferably within Civic and Immigration Services.
- Proven experience in coordinating information gathering for citizenship processes.
- Knowledge of Civic Services Regulations, the Immigration Act, and the Public Finance Management Act.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management and decision-making.
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
