What You’ll Do
- Monitor and manage compliance related to provincial grants in local government.
- Oversee the tracking of unspent provincial grants to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Implement and facilitate intergovernmental relations by participating in relevant meetings and collaboration sessions.
- Provide support and guidance to municipalities regarding provincial grants management.
- Assist in the administrative functions of the sub-directorate to enhance operational efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification at NQF Level 7 in Financial Accounting or Auditing.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Between 3 to 5 years of working experience in local government finance, specifically in Provincial Grants Management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Requirements
NQF Level 7 in Financial Accounting /Auditing.Driver’s license.
3 to 5 years’ working experience in local government finance within Provincial Grants Management.
Job Duties
To Perform the monitoring of provincial grants management to enhance compliance with the relevant legislation and related regulations.Perform the monitoring of unspent provincial grants in local government and transferring provincial departments (TPDs) to enhance compliance with the relevant legislation and related regulations.
Implement intergovernmental relations (internally and externally) including participation in intergovernmental meetings, workshops, collaboration sessions.
Provide support to municipalities pertaining to provincial grants management.
Facilitate the administrative function of the sub-directorate.
