What You’ll Do

  • Provide support for monitoring and evaluating departmental programmes and projects.
  • Coordinate the development and review of Departmental Quarterly Performance Reports.
  • Organize and prepare agendas for quarterly review sessions.
  • Review evidence submitted by relevant programmes and prepare feedback reports.
  • Capture quarterly reports in the DPME EQPR system and document minutes for review sessions.
  • Respond to audit queries from Internal Audit and prepare statistical reports on demographics.
  • Facilitate the development of monitoring and evaluation reports and coordinate submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Assist in the development and updating of monitoring and evaluation databases and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with service providers for the design and layout of annual reports.
  • Develop quarterly operational plans and presentations for relevant programmes.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum three-year National Diploma (NQF level 6) or Degree (NQF level 7) in a relevant field such as Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Administration, or Statistics.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, with a minimum of 2 years at a senior or practitioner level.
  • Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, the Public Service Act, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
