What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate and coordinate departmental monitoring and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with DPME and Provincial Treasury guidelines.
  • Oversee the consolidation, quality assurance, and verification of Quarterly Performance Reports (QPRs).
  • Provide inputs for the development and review of Annual Performance Plan (APP) indicators and targets.
  • Offer technical support to business units on performance information management.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and compliance reviews.
  • Analyse programme performance trends and prepare management reports with recommendations.
  • Prepare consolidated Mid-year Performance Assessments and assist with Annual Report drafting.
  • Coordinate departmental submissions to oversight structures.
  • Facilitate capacity-building initiatives on monitoring and evaluation.
  • Supervise subordinates and ensure effective team performance.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate plus a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Public Management, or Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in performance monitoring or programme performance management, with 2 years at a supervisory level.
  • Familiarity with quarterly and annual reporting processes and data quality assessments.
  • Knowledge of public service monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
