What You’ll Do

  • Develop and contribute to the three-year rolling and annual risk-based audit plans.
  • Coordinate the strategic risk-based audit plan within the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
  • Provide advisory and assurance services to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct internal audit activities to support the audit committee’s oversight role.
  • Manage resources, including human, financial, and equipment/assets, within the audit section.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Internal Auditing, Auditing, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or IT Auditing at NQF Level 6, recognized by SAQA.
  • Registration with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and/or the Information Systems and Control Association (ISACA).
  • A minimum of four years of experience, with two years in a supervisory role in Internal Audit or IT Audit environments.
  • Knowledge of conflict management, audit techniques, and policy analysis.
  • Strong skills in communication, coordination, presentation, and report writing.
