What You’ll Do

  • Provide operational oversight and support for ECM and related systems, ensuring they function effectively across healthcare facilities.
  • Liaise with hospital management teams and IT services to resolve operational issues and communicate system updates.
  • Manage the implementation of change control processes and maintain master files related to patient and service records.
  • Coordinate system enhancements and participate in development initiatives, ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
  • Offer onsite and remote support for technical issues, including system configuration and software challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with ICT policies regarding user access and audit standards.
  • Identify training needs for system users and deliver training sessions to enhance their understanding and efficiency.
  • Manage human resources responsibilities, including performance management and staff development.
  • Generate data reports to support operational reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Provide after-hours support as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations across facilities.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant 3-year National Diploma or Degree.
  • Proven experience in project management and supporting hospital information systems, particularly ECM and related applications.
  • Strong background in ICT support and maintenance, along with experience in administrative and clinical processes within healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems and managing master data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide effective user training.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape.
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management methodologies is advantageous.
