What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain communication systems to ensure their availability.
  • Provide ICT service support for software, hardware, and networks, including WAN, LAN, and VPN.
  • Oversee the management and support of transversal systems and applications.
  • Monitor and report on ICT service delivery, ensuring adherence to service standards.
  • Manage resources, ICT risks, and audit queries effectively.
  • Develop and document ICT policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Establish contingency plans for ICT service support and delivery.
  • Engage with users to address their needs and resolve issues related to network services.
  • Conduct research on current technology trends to enhance existing systems and services.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and a qualification in Information Technology or Computer Sciences (NQF 6).
  • An ITIL certificate and knowledge of ICT Governance and Ethics are advantageous.
  • At least three years of experience in a supervisory role within an Information Technology environment.
  • Familiarity with transversal applications such as BAS, PERSAL, and Logis.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, open-source systems, and directory authentication services.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for travel when necessary.
