What You’ll Do

  • Oversee Human Resource Management and Administration services, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage and coordinate Human Resource Development services to enhance staff capabilities.
  • Facilitate organisational development services to support the college’s strategic goals.
  • Coordinate Human Resource Planning and Employment Equity initiatives to promote equality in the workplace.
  • Provide comprehensive Employee Health and Wellness services to support staff well-being.
  • Develop and implement Human Resource policies and manuals to standardise practices.
  • Manage all human, financial, and other resources within the unit effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • A Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or a related qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in Human Resource Management or related fields, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of public service legislation and policies related to Human Resource Management.
  • Familiarity with TVET/CET Administration and the Higher Education sector.
  • Proficiency in PERSAL and Job Evaluation systems.
  • Strong administrative, planning, and organizing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a client-oriented approach.
  • Project management and team leadership experience.

Requirements

A Degree / National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resource Management or Relative Qualification recognized by SAQA, 3-5 years’ work Experience in Human Resource Management or Relative Experience at Supervisory level.

A valid driver’s licence.

Knowledge of Public Services legislations and policies related to Human Resource Management, Knowledge and understanding of the TVET /CET Administration, Knowledge and understanding of Higher Education sector, Knowledge of PERSAL and Job Evaluation.

Job Duties

Oversee Human Resource Management and Administration services, Oversee Human Resource Development services, Coordinate and Facilitate Organisational Development Services, Coordinate and Facilitate Human Resource Planning (HRP) and Employment Equity (EE) Service, Provide Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) services, Develop and Implement Human Resource Policies and Manuals, Management of all Human, Financial and other resources of the unit.

Salary

R487 197 per annum (Level 09), (plus benefits)
