What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance data collection efforts.
  • Innovate and manage the production of EEA and EA data.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of economic, social, and environmental data indicators.
  • Compile EEA and EA statistics to inform public policy and decision-making.
  • Conduct mapping and project planning to guide departmental initiatives.
  • Supervise staff and resources within the directorate to ensure effective operations.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Economics, Statistics, or Accounting.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Training in System of National Accounts (SNA) and System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SEEA).
  • Knowledge of relevant classification systems and economic indicators.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
