What You’ll Do
- Manage cashier, banking, and electronic payment functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee financial reconciliations, including bank and petty cash, to maintain financial integrity.
- Verify payments against approved budgets and ensure transactions are compliant with financial regulations.
- Monitor the finance email inbox to address payment-related queries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate financial records and schedules to support annual financial statements and reporting.
- Mentor and develop team members, conducting performance evaluations and implementing necessary processes.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and wellness standards within the division.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant 3-year B-Degree in Financial Management at NQF level 7 or higher.
- At least 3 years of relevant supervisory experience in a financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of public finance management norms and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial systems and report writing.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
