What You’ll Do

• Perform necessary administrative functions to support building projects.
• Control tools and materials effectively to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Train and supervise subordinate staff to maintain quality standards.
• Assist with the execution of building projects and repairs in hospitals and health institutions.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment within the Western Cape.
• Support Artisan Foremen and Chief Artisan in their daily duties.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Carpentry.
• For Grade A: No experience required.
• For Grade B: Minimum of 18 years relevant experience post-qualification.
• For Grade C: Minimum of 34 years relevant experience post-qualification.
• A valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel throughout the Western Cape.
• Ability to perform standby duties as required.
• Knowledge of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
