What You’ll Do
- Supervise the design and production of electrical objects according to client specifications.
- Maintain and repair equipment and facilities related to electrical standards.
- Inspect equipment for technical faults and ensure timely repairs.
- Test repaired equipment against specifications to guarantee compliance.
- Update registers of maintained and repaired faults to keep accurate records.
- Obtain quotations and manage the purchase of required materials and equipment.
- Compile and submit comprehensive reports as needed.
- Lead a team of employees to ensure effective service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- At least five years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge in project management, technical design, and analysis.
- Proficiency in computer-aided technical applications and technical report writing.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Creativity and adaptability in managing change and financial processes.

Job Duties
Design and production of objects- Supervise and produce designs according to client specification and within limits of production capability; Produce objects with material and equipment according to job specification and recognized standards.Ensure effective and efficient maintenance of technical faults Inspect equipment and/or facilities for technical faults.
Repair equipment and facilities related to electrical according to standards.
Test repair equipment and/or facilities against specifications.
Update register of maintained and repaired faults.
Obtain quotations and purchase (order) required equipment and materials.
Compile and submit reports as required.
Supervise employees to ensure an effective service delivery.
