What You’ll Do
- Administer manual and electronic income tax calculations efficiently.
- Collate individual income tax information for accurate processing.
- Reconcile payment profiles with the tax master and resolve audit queries promptly.
- Process and implement garnishee orders from SARS, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Compile and submit tax reports post each payment run to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with income tax-related inquiries from various channels, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Organize and manage office logistics, including ordering supplies and filing important documents.
- Provide general administrative support to enhance the functionality of the unit.
What You’ll Need
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate with a minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- A National Diploma or Degree in Finance (minimum 360 credits) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and strong computer literacy.
- Good understanding of the Income Tax Act, GEP Law, PFMA, and the Pension Fund Act.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on interpersonal relations.
- Strong numeracy and methodical skills, exhibiting integrity and reliability.
- A team-oriented mindset with good leadership qualities and a service-oriented approach.
