What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the activities of the Finance and Supply Chain Department divisions and transport operations.
- Control expenditures and manage the allocated budget effectively.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including expenses and expenditure commitments.
- Compile inputs for Financial Statements (IFS and AFS) and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee and manage stores, including asset and liability accounts.
- Authorize journals, payments, and handle Logis functions and EPS transactions.
- Address all audit queries and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to new appointees and subordinates.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent), with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject, or appropriate experience/competencies relevant to the key performance areas of the role.
- Relevant experience in Financial Management and Supply Chain Management.
- Familiarity with Logis and BAS systems.
- Knowledge of In-Year Monitoring and Reporting, AFS reporting, and National and Provincial Treasury Regulations.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively and train team members effectively.

Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Senior certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with appropriate experience /competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post.Experience: Appropriate experience in Financial Management and Supply Chain Management.
Appropriate Experience in Logis and BAS.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of In- Year monitoring and reporting, AFS reporting, BAS, and LOGIS, National and Provincial Treasury Regulations as well as the Accounting Officers System of the Department and PFMA.
Good communication skills Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point).

Job Duties
Responsible for the effective and efficient functioning and co-ordination of the Finance, Supply Chain Department division and Transport.Responsible for control of expenditure and allocated budget.
Draw all financial reports: expenses per month and expenditure commitments etc.
Monthly Compilation of supply chain and Finance reports (IYM).
Compilation of inputs into Financial Statements (IFS and AFS).
Management of Stores.
Ensure clearing of Assets and Liability Accounts.
Authorizing of Journals and payments, Logis functions, EPS transactions and all Audit queries.
Training of subordinates and new appointees.
