What You’ll Do

  • Ensure official appointments of transport representatives are made accurately.
  • Maintain an updated vehicle asset register for the Head Office fleet.
  • Analyze the utilization of the Head Office’s fleet for optimal performance.
  • Arrange and oversee inspections of government vehicles and manage administrative processes.
  • Conduct vehicle condition assessments and address issues of misuse or incidents.
  • Administer vehicle licensing, servicing, traffic violations, and other fleet-related tasks.
  • Capture and reconcile vehicle odometer readings and invoices monthly.
  • Support the fleet users at the Head Office and assist in the procurement process for vehicle replacements.
  • Supervise staff and assist senior management with various tasks as assigned.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as required.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Accounting or Mathematics as a passed subject, or relevant experience.
  • Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management practices and systems, especially in the transport sector.
  • Valid driver’s license (Code B) is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a focus on data accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
