What You’ll Do

  • Report defects and compile job cards for maintenance tasks.
  • Liaise with landlords, internal stakeholders, and external service providers regarding maintenance issues.
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of all maintenance and repairs.
  • Oversee cleaning services and manage procurement of cleaning supplies.
  • Compile maintenance reports and monitor turnaround times for outstanding tasks.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Assist in coordinating occupational health and safety activities.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and oversee the preparation of meeting spaces.
  • Provide administrative support for various health and safety initiatives.
  • Train and supervise a team of subordinates to maintain an efficient work environment.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum three-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF level 7) in Environmental Health, Safety Management, or Facilities Management.
  • Completed Community Service and a valid driver’s license.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in maintenance, facilities, or Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance processes and health safety principles.
  • Strong report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and organizational skills to manage administrative processes effectively.
