What You’ll Do
- Draft submissions, reports, and correspondence for the department.
- Provide general administrative support to various components.
- Collate and consolidate inputs into policies and operational plans.
- Assist in coordinating responses to parliamentary questions.
- Liaise with the IT and Infrastructure departments regarding equipment issues.
- Coordinate the arrangement of government vehicles as needed.
- Track deadlines and issue timely reminders for tasks and feedback.
- Maintain databases and compile relevant records.
- Assist with financial and procurement administrative duties.
- Participate in the development and implementation of improved administrative processes.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher).
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of procurement and tendering processes.
- Understanding of public service procedures and systems.
- Excellent report writing and minute-taking skills.
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to communicate in at least two of the official languages of the province.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
