About the Role
The South African Police Service (SAPS) invites dedicated individuals to consider the role of Administration Clerk, with multiple posts available at various locations, including the SAPS Academy in Bishop Lavis, Mthatha, Oudtshoorn, and Tshwane. What You’ll Do
- Compile and assist with a four-week menu for trainees.
- Order stock according to the planned menu and verify deliveries against orders and invoices.
- Provide invoices to the Financial Office for supplier payments.
- Conduct monthly stock taking in the mess and manage the asset register.
- Assist in venue setup and client service during events and meetings.
- Prepare monthly reports on meals served, food consumption, and wastage.
- Check overtime claims of shift workers for accuracy and completeness.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in dining halls and kitchens.
What You’ll Need
- Proficiency in at least English and one other official language.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in a relevant field.
- An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Public Service regulations and good communication skills.
- General computer literacy, especially in MS Office applications.
- Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
