What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate the creation and management of strategic planning documents for the department.
  • Oversee the preparation of the Annual Report for the component.
  • Coordinate the Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA) Audit and Internal Audit functions.
  • Support performance assessments for the Component Head and Section Heads.
  • Assist with various parliamentary matters related to administrative functions.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the department.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of four years’ experience in administrative roles relevant to the position.
  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • An applicable three-year diploma or degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and one other official language.
  • Valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good computer literacy (MS Office suite).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
