What You’ll Do

  • Compile, verify, and consolidate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports as per the Annual Operational Plan and Annual Performance Plan.
  • Ensure timely submission of performance reports to the relevant components within the department.
  • Monitor and review reports from the Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) and Internal Audit findings, as well as address Parliamentary questions.
  • Liaise with provincial offices regarding performance reporting, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration.
  • Create presentations and compile information to support the section’s objectives.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven competency in the core functions relevant to the role.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4 as recognized by SAQA).
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role.
  • An applicable three-year Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher as recognized by SAQA) is an advantage.
  • A valid driver’s license for a light motor vehicle is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of public service prescripts, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and general computer literacy (MS Office suite).
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate professionalism, and be accountable, with strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
