What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and manage all administrative functions within the component.
  • Compile and distribute the weekly Provincial duty list.
  • Handle human resource matters, including absenteeism, transfers, and grievances.
  • Manage supply chain duties, ensuring asset certification and maintenance of the Stock Register.
  • Attend to financial responsibilities, including budget monitoring and processing claims.
  • Conduct inspections at various districts and stations as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
  • At least four years of relevant experience in an administrative role.
  • A three-year diploma or degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and one other official language.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
