About the Role
The Department of Agriculture is seeking a dedicated Administration Clerk Supervisor to join its Organisational Development: Work-Study team in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the yearly concept budget to ensure financial resources are effectively managed.
- Manage monthly telecommunication accounts, including cell phone and telephone usage.
- Submit weekly reports on travel itineraries, advance requests, and claims submissions.
- Certify and oversee payroll processing for the Organisational Development and Strategic Management divisions.
- Compile and manage training provision reports and maintain registry files for documentation.
- Develop databases for work-study investigations and related management reports.
- Facilitate the preparation of meetings by compiling schedules and updating status reports.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in an administrative role.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
- An applicable three-year Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is beneficial.
- Proven problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
