The Department of Agriculture is seeking an Administration Clerk – Supervisor to join their team in Bhisho, within the Nelson Mandela Metro. What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the district.
- Maintain and update records of all relevant documents and filing systems.
- Facilitate payments for safety patrollers while exercising control over the district’s expenditure.
- Assist with asset and fleet management services, including travel arrangements and accommodation.
- Supervise and provide support on Supply Chain Management matters within the district.
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement processes.
- Offer personnel administration clerical support services and manage staff performance issues.
- Implement policies and procedures to minimize risks and promote effective asset management.
- Update registers, maintain statistics, and ensure compliance with administrative processes.
- Handle routine inquiries and distribute documents/packages as required.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and a relevant national diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Management, or Office Management.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- A valid South African driver’s licence.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills.
- Excellent secretarial, administrative, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
