What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate demand plans and ensure procurement aligns with these plans.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews to ensure compliance with procurement standards.
  • Source quotations and perform inventory checks.
  • Capture requisitions, orders, and manage goods receipts and issues.
  • Assist with the procurement of price quotations, tenders, and evaluations.
  • Maintain registers for orders, payments, and requisitions.
  • Handle supplier queries and update the supplier database.
  • Provide thorough logistical support and clerical assistance related to asset management.
  • Ensure accurate records of procurement batches, goods received, and asset verification processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and dispose of redundant or obsolete equipment.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • One year of experience in Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of procurement administrative procedures and financial legislation.
  • A valid Code 08 driver’s license is an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of financial operating systems (PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS, SAP).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage diversity effectively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel outside working hours as needed.
