What You’ll Do

  • Administer absenteeism functions and service terminations to maintain accurate records
  • Manage medical administration processes and support grievance and disciplinary actions
  • Oversee Employment Equity functions and ensure job descriptions are up to date
  • Facilitate the Performance Enhancement Process (PEP) and support skills development initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support to various units within the department

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities
  • Interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure and extend working hours when necessary
