What You’ll Do

  • Render HR administrative functions and respond to inquiries.
  • Administer recruitment and selection processes, ensuring a fair and efficient hiring experience.
  • Manage the Performance Management and Development System and coordinate training initiatives.
  • Process human resource transactions including appointments, leaves, and terminations.
  • Draft memorandums and submissions related to HR functions.
  • Provide professional advice to line functions on HRM policies and interpretation.
  • Compile daily statistics and update relevant databases to maintain accurate records.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • A National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or Public Management is advantageous.
  • One year of experience in a similar role will be beneficial.
  • A valid unexpired driver’s license is a plus.
  • An Introduction to PERSAL Certificate is also advantageous.
  • Knowledge of PERSAL and proficiency in MS Office packages.
  • Familiarity with HR prescripts governing the public service is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer care, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage pressure.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours if necessary.
