What You’ll Do
- Type and prepare reports, letters, and memorandums for the Station Commissioner’s office.
- Monitor the flow of documents to ensure timely communication.
- Keep accurate records of all collected documents for administrative purposes.
- Scrutinize and capture all incoming and outgoing posts.
- Complete and submit monthly vehicle allowance returns efficiently.
- Provide secretarial and administrative support as needed.
- Assist in arranging travel and subsistence allowances for various provincial activities.
- Manage a bring forward system to ensure effective administration and follow-up.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions of the post is required.
- Proficiency in at least English and one other official language is essential.
- A valid South African citizenship with documentary proof.
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification.
- Relevant courses in administration will be advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage extended hours when necessary.
