What You’ll Do
- Receive and process invoices for payment accurately.
- Provide salary administration support services to ensure timely and accurate payroll.
- Perform bookkeeping services, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Capture and update expenditure data in the financial management system.
- Review and verify the correctness of travel claims and other financial documents.
- Manage telephone accounts and petty cash transactions for the department.
- Enter budget information and assist with financial reporting as needed.
- Distribute salary advice to officials and maintain communication regarding payroll inquiries.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior/Grade 12 certificate is essential.
- A National Diploma in Finance is advantageous.
- At least one year of experience in a finance environment is preferred.
- A valid, unexpired driver’s license is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and software applications.
- Knowledge of PFMA, SAP, BAS, and Treasury Regulations is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A responsible attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
