What You’ll Do
- Facilitate the admission of patients, ensuring correct assessment and data capturing.
- Manage patient folders at the reception area and schedule various appointments on the hospital system.
- Maintain a comprehensive record-keeping system, including compiling, retrieving, filing, tracing, and archiving patient folders.
- Ensure the accurate collection, safekeeping, and deposit of state funds.
- Address written and telephonic queries related to patient admission matters.
- Provide relief duties and support to supervisory staff as needed.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) is required, alongside relevant experience in a patient administrative setting.
- Familiarity with Clinicom/PHCIS systems is essential.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proficient in MS Office with strong communication skills.
- A team player who can also work independently, with good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of hospital policies, including the Hospital Fees memorandum and medical records management.
