What You’ll Need

  • A Matric certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Disaster Management or a related field, recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in disaster risk management.
  • A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for disabled applicants).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Disaster Management Act and local government regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and office management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated, and pay attention to detail.
