The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) is excited to offer the Thuthuka Bursary Programme for the 2027 academic year. Key Responsibilities

Recipients of the Thuthuka Bursary will be expected to maintain their academic performance and participate in various enrichment programmes. These include tutorials, workshops, and mentoring sessions designed to enhance both academic and personal development.

Requirements/Qualifications

To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Be Black African or Coloured
  • Come from a disadvantaged background
  • Be in Matric or have completed Matric within the last two years
  • Have achieved at least 60% in Mathematics (Grade 11)
  • Be studying or intending to study towards a SAICA-accredited qualification in 2027
  • Have a combined family income of no more than R350,000 per annum
  • Have written or plan to write the National Benchmark Tests before the closing date

Benefits

Bursary Contract
