Key Responsibilities

Successful bursary recipients will be required to sign a contract with the KwaZulu-Natal Government and commit to working within the relevant department for a period equivalent to the duration of the bursary funding.

Requirements/Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Reside in KwaZulu-Natal
  • Have completed Matric
  • Be studying or intending to study full-time in 2026
  • Be accepted or provisionally accepted at a recognized public tertiary institution in South Africa
  • Preference is given to students studying within KwaZulu-Natal
  • Youth with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply
