Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be required to sign a bursary agreement with Gold One Gedex Operations, committing to the terms and conditions outlined by the company.
Requirements/Qualifications
- External Applicants: Must be South African citizens residing within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, currently in Matric or having completed Matric, and intending to study in one of the approved fields. They must be registered or accepted at a recognized South African tertiary institution and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students from mine hosting communities.
- Internal Applicants: Must be permanent employees of Gold One or their direct dependents, currently in Matric or having completed Matric, and registered at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa.
Benefits
The bursary covers tuition fees, examination fees, prescribed textbooks, and university-administered accommodation for full-time students. However, it does not cover laptops, meals, data, transport, short courses, or monthly living stipends.
