This role is essential in ensuring that minor new and existing structures comply with the required standards and regulations within the public service sector. In this position, you will not only be responsible for rendering basic inspection services but also for analysing and compiling relevant documentation related to construction projects. What You’ll Do

• Conduct inspections of minor new and existing structures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Analyse and compile relevant documentation for construction work.
• Oversee the performance and work of contractors on various projects.
• Gather and submit information in line with the Extended Public Works Programme (EPWP).
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of inspections and project progress.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
• A National Diploma in T/N/S streams or equivalent, or an N3 with a passed trade test in the building environment.
• Registration as an Engineering Technician is advantageous.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, including Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, and E-mail Software Programs.
• A valid driver’s license is essential for this role.
