What You’ll Do
- Assist in the maintenance of government facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of team vehicles and tools.
- Maintain stores and equipment tents for safety and organization.
- Relocate camps when necessary to support operations.
- Perform regular cleaning, servicing, and repairs of tools and equipment.
- Report defects to the mechanical workshop to prevent further damage.
- Help with the dispensing and receiving of fuels and oils.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 10 Certificate (NQF Level 3) or relevant equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good interpersonal relations to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to organize tasks and use electrical and hand tools.
- Capacity to work independently and take initiative when required.
