What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and declare user account activity on the BAS system, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor source systems interfacing and system response, addressing any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with internal teams regarding system requirements and enhancements
  • Provide comprehensive helpdesk administration, addressing user queries efficiently
  • Issue written and electronic financial system procedures and policies
  • Compile and manage correspondences related to the A/G COMAF
  • Deliver system input for disclosures relevant to Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
  • Train subordinates and BAS users to enhance system proficiency

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a 3-year National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
  • Appropriate supervisory experience in a similar environment
  • Valid Code EB driver’s licence
  • Extensive knowledge of Financial Systems: BAS & LOGIS
  • Strong leadership and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities
  • Competence in report writing and project management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Aptitude for numerical work and effective meeting presentation skills
