About the Opportunity
This internship focuses on Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Coordination. You will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines within our warehouse and supply chain. Your efforts will support our mission to ‘Grow What Matters’ by maintaining a safe environment for all employees, contractors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities
– Assist in providing safety training and managing the induction process for new hires.
– Ensure compliance with company rules and OHS regulations.
– Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
– Support safety audits and coordinate with health services for medical examinations.
– Maintain and update safety programs and standards.
Requirements/Qualifications
– Grade 12 (Matric) plus a recognized Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) qualification.
– Knowledge of Occupational Hygiene and completion of a SAMTRAC (NOSA) course.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
– A valid driver’s license and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S) principles are advantageous.
