What You’ll Do

• Capture loss incidents on relevant registers and electronic systems.
• Maintain accurate records of loss control and recovery efforts.
• Assist in preliminary investigations and fact-finding related to loss cases.
• Gather supporting documents and evidence for loss cases.
• Prepare working papers and summaries for management review.
• Ensure proper filing and control of documents in line with public sector requirements.
• Support awareness initiatives on loss prevention and internal controls.
• Monitor corrective actions to prevent future losses and escalate issues to supervisors as needed.

What You’ll Need

• Matric certificate.
• National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Public Administration, Internal Auditing, Accounting, or Financial Management.
• 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or finance, particularly in compliance, internal audit, loss control, or risk management.
• Knowledge of public service legislation, internal control frameworks, and risk management principles.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Proficient computer skills and a commitment to high ethical standards, confidentiality, and integrity.
