The Supply Chain Management Clerk Supervisor position is based at the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Office in South Africa. What You’ll Do
- Provide clerical support for demand and acquisition processes.
- Update and maintain the supplier database, including contractors.
- Register suppliers on Logis or similar systems.
- Request and receive quotations from suppliers.
- Capture specifications on the electronic purchasing system.
- Place orders and manage the issuing and receiving of bid documents.
- Offer secretariat or logistical support during bid considerations and contract conclusions.
- Compile draft documents as required for procurement processes.
What You’ll Need
- Matric/Grade 12 Certificate.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or Financial Management.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of client orientation and customer focus.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in planning and organising.
- Integrity, flexibility, and teamwork abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
