What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and render demand and acquisition services for the hospital.
  • Oversee logistical services, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
  • Manage and train subordinate staff within the supply chain management unit.
  • Handle complex provisioning administration matters.
  • Manage all aspects of orders, including quotations, purchase requisitions, and procurement advice.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and Treasury Regulations.
  • Evaluate and verify compliance of purchasing transactions.
  • Manage open orders and facilitate requisitions for goods and services.
  • Implement internal procurement policies and maintain procurement systems.
  • Administer payment processes and respond to audit queries.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate/Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of three years relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, or a Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Finance, Logistics, Procurement, or related fields.
  • Knowledge and experience in provisioning administration, especially with LOGIS, PPPFA, PFMA, and Treasury Regulations.
  • Proficiency in BAS and LOGIS financial systems.
  • Strong computer literacy and sound interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective management and supervisory abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valid driver’s license will be advantageous.
