In this position, the Specialist will also conduct research aimed at improving business operations within the Energy Complex. What You’ll Do

• Provide technical support for the development and maintenance of the SOC Policy Framework in the Energy Complex.
• Facilitate alignment of Shareholder Compacts for the SOC(s) within the Energy sector.
• Conduct in-depth research to enhance operational performance and efficiency in energy services.
• Ensure the effective and economical use of resources for research and modeling projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies that promote energy legislation and policy adherence.

What You’ll Need

• A relevant postgraduate qualification in Energy Studies, Engineering, or Electrical Power Systems Management at NQF Level 8 recognized by SAQA.
• A pre-entry certificate for Senior Management Service (SMS) (Nyukela).
• Minimum of 5 years’ research experience at Middle Management Service (MMS) level.
• Comprehensive knowledge of energy legislation, industry regulations, and public service policy.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven management and organizational capabilities, with advanced analytical skills.
