What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support for the development and maintenance of the SOC Policy Framework in the Energy Complex.
- Facilitate the alignment of Shareholder Compacts for SOCs in the Energy sector.
- Conduct research to improve business operations and performance within the Energy Complex.
- Ensure effective and economical utilization of resources allocated to research and modelling projects.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and build consensus on energy policies and initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in Energy Studies, Engineering, or Electrical Power Systems Management at NQF Level 8 recognized by SAQA.
- A pre-entry certificate for Senior Management Service (Nyukela).
- A minimum of 5 years’ research experience at the Middle Management Service level.
- In-depth knowledge of energy legislation, policy, and the energy industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven management and organizational abilities, with advanced analytical skills.
