This pivotal role supports the development and maintenance of the government’s overarching SOC Policy Framework for State-Owned Companies (SOC) within the Energy Complex. In this position, you will play a vital part in facilitating the alignment of Shareholder Compacts for the SOCs in the Energy Complex. What You’ll Do

• Provide technical support for the development and maintenance of the SOC Policy Framework for the Energy Complex.
• Facilitate the alignment of Shareholder Compacts for SOCs in the energy sector.
• Conduct research to boost the performance and operational efficiency of the Energy Complex.
• Ensure the effective and economical use of resources allocated to research and modelling projects.

What You’ll Need

• A relevant postgraduate qualification in Energy Studies, Engineering, or Electrical Power Systems Management at NQF Level 8, recognized by SAQA.
• A pre-entry certificate for 32 SMS (Nyukela).
• A minimum of 5 years of research experience at a Management level.
• Strong knowledge of energy legislation, policy, the energy industry, and regulatory oversight.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to manage and organize effectively.
