What You’ll Do
- Provide demand management services to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Oversee acquisition management to facilitate purchasing processes.
- Manage purchase processes to align with departmental objectives.
- Supervise and mentor subordinates, optimizing the use of both human and physical resources.
- Ensure compliance with relevant directives and legislation governing supply chain and asset management.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate plus an appropriate NQF Level 6 qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Purchasing Management, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supply chain and management.
- A valid driver’s license, with considerations made for people with disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of relevant prescripts and applications related to supply chain and asset management.
- Exceptional people management, financial management, problem-solving, planning, and time management skills.
- Effective communication and facilitation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
