What You’ll Do

  • Provide support for organisational design initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of health services.
  • Coordinate and implement projects that enhance human resource management and development.
  • Facilitate job evaluations and organisational analyses to ensure roles are aligned with departmental goals.
  • Engage with stakeholders to foster collaboration and gather insights for capacity-building initiatives.
  • Transfer knowledge and build capacity within the team to strengthen human resource practices.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Industrial Psychology, or a related field (NQF 6).
  • Relevant experience in organisational design, job evaluation, or personnel management operations.
  • A solid understanding of public sector performance management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in PERSAL, staff establishments, and organisational structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail, report-writing proficiency, and strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite).

Requirements

Minimum educational qualification: An appropriate tertiary qualification in Human Resource/ People Management, Organisational Development, Industrial Psychology, or related field (NQF 6).

Experience: Relevant experience in organisational design, job evaluation, or PM operations.

Competencies (knowledge /skills): Knowledge of public sector PM frameworks, policies, and procedures as well as Establishment Administration.

Working knowledge of PERSAL, staff establishments and organisational structures.

Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills.

Numeracy and mathematical skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Project coordination and organisational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
