What You’ll Do

• Control admission by verifying the identity of employees, visitors, and maintenance personnel.
• Issue and collect admission control cards from visitors.
• Maintain a detailed visitor’s register for accountability.
• Inspect supplies and objects entering premises to ensure safety.
• Manage vehicle access in secured areas and conduct patrols of the facilities.
• Supervise cleaning and maintenance personnel from a security perspective.
• Check security equipment and facilities, reporting any issues to senior personnel.
• Assist security officers in fulfilling their duties as needed.

What You’ll Need

• Competency in the core functions of the security role.
• Proficiency in English and one additional official language.
• South African citizenship with proof required at the interview.
• A minimum of Grade 10/Standard 8/NCV level 2 certification.
• Valid registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
• A Grade C security certificate or higher is mandatory.
• Willingness to undergo firearm competency training and maintain certification.
• Valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work shifts and extended hours.
• Knowledge of access control procedures and relevant emergency measures.
