What You’ll Do
- Provide secretarial support to the Director, ensuring efficient management of appointments and events.
- Manage the Director’s diary, record appointments, and handle communications.
- Operate office equipment, including fax and photocopying machines.
- Liaise with travel agencies to arrange travel for the Chief Director.
- Process travel and substance claims for the Director.
- Organize meetings and events, including venue booking and refreshments.
- Maintain a filing system and manage correspondence for the Director’s office.
- Draft routine correspondence and reports, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Collect necessary documents to prepare the Director for meetings.
- Administer leave matters and manage procurement of office supplies.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Strong language skills and the ability to communicate effectively at various levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and sound organizational skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills, with a high level of reliability and discretion.
- Good communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information tactfully.
