What You’ll Do
- Provide secretarial support to the Director, including managing appointments and events.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate office equipment, such as fax machines and photocopiers.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the Chief Director, including processing travel claims.
- Organize meetings and events, including venue booking, invitations, and refreshments.
- Record minutes of meetings and draft routine correspondence and reports.
- Maintain an organized filing system and manage correspondence for the Director’s office.
- Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and standards.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at various levels.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills and a high level of reliability.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with discretion and tact.
