What You’ll Do

  • Assist in maintaining debtors’ accounts and collecting outstanding contributions.
  • Support the maintenance of SARS and Sundry debtors records.
  • Follow up on outstanding sundry payments to ensure timely resolution.
  • Help allocate non-SARS unallocated electronic contributions to debtor accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance financial recording processes.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Accounting, Accountancy, or Public Finance Management at NQF Level 6, as recognized by SAQA.
  • No prior internship experience in the public or private sector.
  • Knowledge of Public Finance Management and relevant financial systems.
  • Familiarity with reconciliation processes and accounting principles (GRAP and GAAP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and report writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and numeracy.
